First call
I think I'll have a cup of tea, I just woke up and I don't want my voice to sound sleepy.
Hmm, I'm going to go to the kitchen and see how the parents are doing, I'm sure they would like an update.
Maybe I should call a friend to get a little moral boost.
The tea is finished already? I'm going to make another.
------------------------------------------------
The Shadchan said he would be calling any minute, I wonder what's keeping him? Should I jump into the shower? No I can't what if he calls when I'm in the shower. Its been a really tough day at work, I couldn't wait to get home just to unwind a bit. Hmm, maybe I'll eat some dinner... naw not really hungry. Why isn't he calling? He better not be busy with something stupid, (like posting something on the internet). I hate waiting.
Ok, ok I'm calling now!
Ha, you know sometimes we're just so way off.
She was out with friends having dinner, not a care in the world and didn't sound nervous in the least bit.
I'm excited, this should be fun!

Very cute. I think you got girls heads pretty down pat. Believe me you were not off at all. Even if she was out with frinds sounding normal, it is because she wanted to appear that way. Some are more nervous than others, but YOU were definitly on her mind.

Good Luck.

oh that's what it is!!! i was so confused. but i told u i would catch up on what i missed, so i did. did u notice that everything u write about has to do with marriage and shidduchim??! i think u should try to get ur mind off it a little and concentrate on using this "waiting time" to its fullest.

The School Girl seems to have a good point.. nice perspective..

School girl good to see you around, but I'm afraid you're mistaken. Out of the last 12 posts there are only 3 that have to do with marriage and shiduchim.
Are you sure you get what I'm saying with the post? "waiting time"?
Tod, care to elaborate.

i love the pic.

and who cares if you write about shidduchim?

it's funny. i know its a serious subject, but some things are taken way to seriously and could use a little injection of humor.

bravo.

and by the way scorpios are pretty adept and reading people and getting the way they think...

Kudos fellow scorpio.
I think it's amazing hashgacha pratis you posted on my blog tonight. Since I found your blog, I've always been curious as to what the title means. Just this afternoon I was reading a book and right there on the first page in big letters was printed NAMASTE. I was like, that looks familiar. So I checked it up and it turns out its a bow and gesture of greeting(seen mainly in kung-fu movies). The one thing I don't get is why do you spell it the way you do?

I find it ironic how it's the anonymous one asking me who I am... :)

Welcome to the ramble and thanks for commenting.
Well, I'm not sure if I would describe myself as eager to get married, as the eagerness is continuously fluctuating. Though I am eager to settle down and don't believe I can do it on my own...

I hate that feeling, when your not sure when to do something because someone MAY be coming. I've delayed doing many things on account of "just in cases"

by the way in refrence to your pointing out scorpio bef ore (i happen to be one myself) do you really belive in astro. signs?

I'm running out now, I hope to comment later.

I’m not a true believer, but about 45 minutes before you posted your comment I was thinking about a Scorpio personality trait my friend had once mentioned to me and was wondering the same question, I find that to be a little freaky. How about yourself? You feel a little overly sensitive, perceptive and/or possessive sometimes?

I asked because, although I don't really belive in astrology, I do feel I definatly have some of the traits associated with a scorpio. I do think that scorpios tend to be more passionate people. When we belive in something, the belief is so strong. We tend to be sensitive yeah, but its not necassarily a bad thing.

I think we're pretty much on the same page regarding the astro signs.
I don't think sensitivity is a bad thing, in fact I believe it's one of my finer traits.
Someone with a finely tuned sensitivity will experience joy like no one else and pain like no one else. It took me time to come to terms with. Recognizing all the not nice things in people can be very hurtful, but seeing all the beauty within people can be all you need to get yourself out of bed in the morning.
I just have to make sure I focus on the right part.
